There are several Ministerial Regulations/Decisions, which involve the prohibitions and restrictions on importation and/or exportation of certain items. Import and export licenses are required for some goods from the Ministry of Commerce. Import and export permits are also required from relevant government agencies depending on nature of goods. Example of goods with prohibitions, restrictions and controlled includes narcotic drugs, medicines (permit is required from the Ministry of Health), live animal, wood products (permit is required from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and  fishery), fire arm (permit is required from the Ministry of Interior), subjects of culture and arts (permit is required from the Ministry of Culture) etc.
